Purpose:
This
conference explores what is known from current research about the
causes and effects of rural poverty in the Northeast and what needs
to be known in order to design more effective policies. Other goals
are to facilitate future research collaborations, and to contribute
to the evolution of a national rural poverty research agenda about
causes and effects of rural poverty and the design of effective
policies.
