Hyperlinked title: Title of file, hyperlinked to file location for opening and/or saving the file
Description: Indication of contents of file
Format: Program used to create/open file
Note: You will need to have the same program on the computer used to view the file.
Date: Date the file was created
Size: Amount of space the file will use if saved to your computer
Topics: Subject classification area(s) for similar files, hyperlinked to open that topic page in this site
Jurisdiction: Geographic classification area(s) for similar files, hyperlinked to open that jurisdiction page in this site

Hyperlinked title: Title of web page from title bar OR title if PDF file, hyperlinked to open the web page
NOTE: PDF files are indicated by a file name that ends in .pdf. Your computer must have pdf reading program to read these files. If your machine does not have a pdf reader, dialog boxes will appear to instruDE in downloading a plug-in which will allow you to read these files.
URL: Web address of the web page

Click Edit in the menu bar - click Find (on This Page)... OR ctrl + F
The Find dialog box will appear
Type word to be found in box - click Find Next, the found word will appear highlighted in the site
TIPS:
Check Match whole word only box to find an exact word.
Check Match case on proper names
Truncate for more results, ex: assess (without boxes checked) will find assess, assessment, etc
From
the site home page
Type term in box. The search box will accommodate 20 characters and will scroll to view.
Click Start Search.
Click Reset before typing a new search term
Click File in the menu bar - click Print Priview...
The Print Preview screen will appear
Verify that the page contains the information you want (Navigate using arrows on menu)
Click Print...
Click Close to return to web page
Tips:
Most browsers will print the the web page title in the right header, page # of total pages in left header, URL in left footer and date printed in right footer.
If
you only want to print information
from part of the web, use Print
Preview (described above) to verify pages needed.
Click File - Print and choose the Print Range to indicate the pages you wish to print.
Click Print...
If you only want to print a section from a page, highlight that segment on the page, verify in Print Preview and click Selection in the Print - Page Range area.
