of Community Affairs Description: HMFA was created in 1967 as the New Jersey Housing Finance Agency (HFA) for the purpose of increasing the supply of safe, decent and affordable multifamily rental housing for the low- and moderate-income citizens of this state. In 1984, the HFA and its sister agency, the New Jersey Mortgage Finance Agency (MFA), whose charge was to promote the construction and rehabilitation of owner-occupied housing, were merged. Neglect and urban stress limit the life span of the average downtown tree to only 10 years. With proper care, trees live longer, look better, and increase in value as they age. Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium Description: In 1976, the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium (NJMSC) was designated as the managing agent for the New Jersey Sea Grant Program and awarded its first federal grant to study severe pollution problems in the northern New Jersey estuarine areas. Its capabilities in marine science and outreach grew steadily. in the New Jersey Register, published twice a month. Following publication
of adopted rules in the New Jersey Register, the rules are incorporated
