Coast Greenway
Description:
The East Coast Greenway will be the nation's first long-distance, city-to-city,
multi-modal transportation corridor for cyclists, hikers, and other non-motorized
users. Our goal is to connect existing and planned trails that are locally
owned and managed to form a continuous, safe, green route -- easily identified
by the public through signage, maps, users guides, and common services.

River Valley Greenway
Description:
The Hudson River Valley Greenway is an innovative state sponsored program
created to facilitate the development of a voluntary regional strategy
for preserving scenic, natural, historic, cultural and recreational resources
while encouraging compatible economic development and maintaining the
tradition of home rule for land use decision-making. Through voluntary
participation in the Greenway community planning program, communities
in thirteen counties in the Hudson River Valley can receive technical
assistance and funding for local land use planning projects which support

Description:
The Hudson River Watertrail Association is a coalition of small boaters,
primarily human and wind powered, who are actively interested in the Hudson
River as a treasure of natural and human history. The HRWA was formed
in 1992 as an all-volunteer, non-profit environmental and recreational
action group, with the specific goal of building a river trail from the
Atlantic Ocean to Canada and promoting a low impact approach to the river.
